Hosted at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center during the COMEX exhibition and headed by His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Amer Al Shidhani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport and Communications for Communications and Information Technology, the Omani delegation spearheaded discussions on crucial areas like digital foreign direct investment, public-private partnerships, and sustainability and innovation in e-government services.

The meeting served as a valuable platform for local and international technology and digital economy companies to participate. It’s worth noting that Oman is a founding member of the DCO, a prestigious organization boasting 16 member states. The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology actively leverages this membership to exchange expertise, implement joint projects across various fields (including data governance), and foster the growth of small and medium-sized tech enterprises, all while stimulating foreign direct investment within the member
