Muscat: On the sidelines of the Sultanate of Oman's participation in the G20 Summit, two Omani companies are among the competitors in the "Digital Innovation" competition India, among 115 startups from 29 countries.

This comes within the framework of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology's (MTCIT) endeavour to develop emerging Omani technology companies and maximise their contribution to the domestic product and the national economy in general. Today, Friday, with the support of the Ministry, two Omani companies (Rahal and H2SolarO) are participating in the “Digital Innovation” competition, which is being organised in the Republic of India as part of the activities of the G20 summit, with the participation of 115 startups from 29 countries. The competition is being organised on the sidelines of the G20 Digital Innovation Alliance conference, which is being organised in Panglu from August 17-19. It is an important platform for showcasing and supporting emerging companies that provide digital solutions around the world.

The conference is also of great importance as it includes discussions and specialised workshops on various disciplines of information and communication technology, including: general digital infrastructure, cyber security, qualification of competencies and specialists, and bridging the digital gap.
