Workshop on electronic security held in Dhofar

Salalah: The Office of the Governor of Dhofar, in cooperation with the Electronic Defence Centre, organised an awareness workshop at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah on ‘electronic security.’The opening of the seminar was sponsored by His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki al Said, Governor of Dhofar, in the presence of a number of excellencies and officials.The episode presented by Dr Mazen bin Hamad al Shueili, Assistant Head of the Cyber ??Defence Centre, included a number of topics, including an introduction to the centre, the most prominent works and legislation it has developed, in addition to a review of the National Cyber ??Defence Strategy 2022-2025, and the current and future challenges of the cyber security system and methods of targeting cyberspace.
