France, Qatar Leaders Drawn Into $2 Billion Airline Dispute – Report
NNA - French President Emmanuel Macron discussed the ongoing dispute between Airbus and Qatar Airways with the Qatar government, Reuters reports.
The conversation around a $2 billion conflict over A350 jets occurred in December, with the airline grounding 29 of them over what it claims are safety issues, but which the French company insists are only quality problems.
An unnamed French official has confirmed the story, Reuters says, while Qatar's government communications office declined any comment ahead of Friday’s UK High Court procedural hearing. --- RT
