MCIT awards govt sector cloud computing services to Google Cloud – The Peninsula

Doha: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has awarded the framework agreement of cloud computing services for the government sector to Google Cloud, to enhance cooperation between the two parties to accelerate digital transformation in the State of Qatar.

With this, MCIT and Google Cloud commit to work on joint projects and initiatives to accelerate digital transformation in Qatar, in accordance with Qatar National Vision 2030, and to use the capabilities of cloud computing on a larger scale.
