MoCI survey to identify challenges facing Qatar’s tech entrepreneurs – The Peninsula

To strengthen the entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem in the country, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has launched an online poll on challenges to entrepreneurs in the technology sector.

The questionnaire has two main questions: What are the challenges facing entrepreneurs in the technology sector? What is the best way to overcome them?

Anyone can contribute to identifying and overcoming these issues by answering the survey available online, the Ministry announced on Twitter.

Different entities in Qatar have launched many initiatives in recent years to promote entrepreneurship in the country. Digital Incubation Center (DIC) of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology was created to boost ICT innovation in Qatar, particularly among young people at the critical early stages of starting or growing a technology-related business.

Meanwhile, Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC) is a unique mixed-use business incubation centre providing business support services to help entrepreneurs and companies that either have an idea to start a business or want to grow an existing business.

QBIC was established by leading institutions working to promote entrepreneurship in Qatar — QDB and the Social Development Center ‘NAMA’.
