Officials of Qatar Chamber and the German Near and Middle East Association (NUMOV) held a meeting on Monday at the chamber’s headquarters in Doha to discuss investment opportunities for the State and Germany.

Qatar Chamber first vice chairman Mohamed bin Towar al-Kuwari met with the delegation of NUMOV led by the CEO of KSG Security & Defense Agency, Dr Frank Duchardt.

In a statement, Qatar Chamber noted that the meeting revolved around co-operation relations between both sides in various sectors, such as cybersecurity, travel, and tourism, among others.

During the meeting, al-Kuwari lauded the close relations between Qatar and Germany in all fields, especially the commercial and economic aspects. On the other hand, Duchardt paid tribute to the renaissance witnessed by the State of Qatar in all areas, particularly in the infrastructure and preparations as the host of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Duchardt said during the past five years, NUMOV organised five trading delegations to Qatar to explore investment opportunities available in the country and to promote the investment opportunities available in Germany among Qatari investors.
