Qatar QRDI & MoECC join to adopt innovative solutions for environmental issues

The Qatar Research, Development and Innovation (QRDI) Council and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) have signed a cooperation agreement solidifying the two parties’ efforts to leverage innovation as a means to further protect Qatar’s environment.

The agreement also aims at enhancing the sustainability of its resources goals which are among the objectives of the Qatar National Strategy for Environment and Climate Change and the QRDI 2030 Strategy.

It was signed at the MoECC headquarters by the Director of Planning and Quality Department at the Ministry, Ms. Aisha Ahmed Al Baker and the Director of Research, Development and Innovation Programs at the QRDI Council, Ms. Nada Al Olaqi. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Environment and Climate Change HE Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani and Secretary-General of the QRDI Council Eng. Omar Ali Al Ansari.
