Qatar’s DIC kick starts ‘IdeaCamp5’ for digital entrepreneurs

The Digital Incubation Center (DIC), part of Qatar’s Ministry of Transport and Communications, has announced that it has started accepting applications for the fifth edition of IdeaCamp (IdeaCamp5).

IdeaCamp is a program from the Digital Incubation Center (DIC) for entrepreneurs, developers and designers who have a great idea for a technology solution. The program focuses on areas including the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced analytics.

The DIC designed the program to help build and develop a leading generation of tech entrepreneurs in Qatar by offering them the skills that will allow them to turn their creative ideas into reality to serve the country’s digital economy.

The IdeaCamp5 targets tech entrepreneurs, developers, and programmers, who can bring out innovative ideas that serve the sectors of Smart Qatar (TASMU), which includes healthcare, transportation, environment, logistics, and sports.

Even though the program accepts any tech idea, this year the priority is given to entrepreneurs who utilize areas such as advanced analytics, IoT, blockchain, robots, drones, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), mobile solutions, data visualization, and AI.
