KSA: Saudi crown prince visits Jordan – Gulf Digital News

AMMAN: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman held talks with King Abdullah of Jordan at Al Husseiniya Palace in Amman, during which the Jordanian King stressed the pivotal role of Saudi Arabia, led by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in supporting the region’s causes.

Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman stressed the kingdom’s keenness to consolidate brotherly relations with Jordan, pointing out that the goal is to push for a new phase of co-operation for the benefit of Jordan and Saudi Arabia, and that there are great opportunities that will benefit both countries.

King Abdullah also bestowed upon the Saudi Crown Prince the Order of Al Hussein Bin Ali, which is the highest order of Jordan, embodying the close ties between the two countries.

During the visit, the two leaders will discuss a number of regional and international issues and the strengthening of relations in various fields.

The Crown Prince arrived in Jordan earlier yesterday and was welcomed at the airport by King Abdullah. Royal Jordanian Air force fighter jets accompanied the Crown Prince’s aircraft upon entering Jordan’s airspace.
