KSA: Visitors catch a glimpse of The Line at Riyadh exhibition – Gulf Digital News
An exhibition focusing on the ambitious NEOM project in Saudi's northwestern region, has gone on display in Riyadh.
The event will give visitors a glimpse into The Line development, which will be constructed using revolutionary architectural designs and urban planning concepts.
“The future is here. Unlike traditional cities, The Line will run on 100 percent renewable energy, prioritize health, and promote a sense of well-being for residents and visitors over transportation and infrastructure,” a spokesman for the project told Arab News.
NEOM has several ongoing megaprojects, including year-round winter sports complex Trojena; the first outdoor ski resort in the GCC region, which is set to host the Asian Winter Games in 2029; and luxury tourist destination Sindalah Island.
The showcase is open to the public until April 29 at the Diriyah Biennale Foundation for Contemporary Art in Riyadh’s Jax district.
