SDAIA strikes MoU with FIWARE to localize technology

The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the FIWARE Foundation in order to localize the technology and adapt it to the local language, culture, regulations, infrastructure, and skills. The memorandum of understanding was signed on the sidelines of the SDAIA-organized Global Smart City Forum, which was held on February 12 and 13 under the theme “A Better Life” at the Riyadh Arena, with the participation of more than 100 speakers from over 40 countries.
