SCCI, Emirates Creative Association to boost innovation & creativity

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), represented by the Public Relations and Social Responsibility Department, has signed an agreement with the Emirates Creative Association to boost cooperation and exchange of knowledge and experiences and embrace innovative projects to elevate individual and institutional performance.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which comes in line with the strategies of the UAE government for innovation and creativity and the objectives for the next fifty years, was signed on the SCCI premises by Sheikh Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Creative Association, and Mr. Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the SCCI.

As part of the MoU, the two parties will exchange studies, co-organize innovation-related community activities and events, and coordinate advisory services related to training, development, entrepreneurship and management of entrepreneurial projects.

Further, the two sides will agree to develop methods for systematic research, sponsoring and organizing conferences, seminars and workshops for the best and latest global practices in creativity and innovation, supporting and empowering national talents.

SCCI and Emirates Creative Association also intend to launch an action plan to implement joint projects concerning the annual creativity and innovation exhibition, planned at the SCCI headquarters, under the
