HBMSU organises ‘Innovation Day’ themed ‘Driving the Future: Innovation for a Better Tomorrow’

Dubai – In conjunction with the UAE Innovation Month, Hamdan bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) organised ‘Innovation Day’ under the theme, ‘Driving the Future: Innovation for a Better Tomorrow’. The event is in line with the university’s mission to foster innovation and support national directives that endorse innovation as a key pillar for development, in accordance with the objectives of the National Innovation Strategy.

The Innovation Day’s agenda included several engaging activities and challenges, as well as interactive sessions and panel discussions on entrepreneurship, and the role of education in fuelling innovation. The event, which was held at HBMSU campus, was attended by faculty members, administrative officials, over 100 university learners, and 300 school students, in addition to several entrepreneurs and sponsors, including the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, Lead Ventures Project Management Solutions, and Humanity Works. Participants of the program included the School of Business and Quality Management, School of e-Education (SEED), School of Health and Environmental Studies, along with other departments.
