IFX Expo Dubai: Blockchain changing the way traditional capital markets operate…

This week at the IFX Expo Dubai 2023, Chief Executive Officer Christopher Flinos stated that the Blockchain, Cryptocurrency and Web3.0 are continuing to integrate themselves into the infrastructure powering the global financial system. A combination of regulation and corporate governance will be key to further integrating this new technology into global capital markets.

The iFX EXPO is the leading B2B conference in online trading, financial services and fintech and is attended by global financial industry leaders and held at the iconic Dubai World Trade Centre. While participating in a panel discussion on Web 3 and Crypto, Flinos stated. “Smart contracts can automate bond, equity, convert, and warrant issuance, their interest payments, their registers, and settlements, all automated, revolutionising how capital market instruments operate''.

The panel discussion was well received by industry analysts. Flinos also highlighted some of the pioneering developments within HAYVN as it continues to be an institutional beacon for the industry. Amongst the topics, the recent launch of the HAYVN 20 Cryptocurrency Index Fund was discussed. Fellow industry leaders expressed admiration for the fund’s ability to offer clients a diversified, low cost and regulated strategy to invest in an index representing the top 20 cryptocurrency coins by market capitalisation.
