Japan-based Geniee acquires Adtech company Zelto amid expansion

UAE-based entrepreneur Mr. Ankit Oberoi’s Adtech company Zelto, formerly known as AdPushup, has been acquired by Geniee, a publicly listed Japan-based ad technology company and a member of the Softbank Group Corporation.

This acquisition opens up an opportunity for Geniee to expand into regions such as North America, India, and Europe, while Zelto will be able to develop and expand its current publisher monetization services in regions such as Southeast Asia.

Mr. Ankit founded Zelto in the year 2014 and successfully led the product development, market strategy as well as business development efforts which have allowed the company to scale over 240 billion impressions annually for more than 300 websites across the globe.
