Sheraa Startups and AUS bridge the gap: Over 100 job openings matched with 500+ talented students

The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre [Sheraa] and the American University of Sharjah [AUS] organized the Startup Career Fair 2023 in partnership with Crescent Enterprises, providing more than 500 students with the opportunity to connect with over 27 Sheraa-supported startups. The event was held at the Sheraa Hub at AUS and featured interactive booths and fireside chats with leading entrepreneurs and innovators.

The fair provided job opportunities for students seeking full-time, part-time, freelance, and internship positions, with more than 100 job positions advertised by the participating startups. The positions ranged from sales & business development, product strategy, product development, marketing, IT and software, graphic design, finance, engineering, data management, customer relationship management, filming, editing, and content creation.

The founders of the startups shared their experiences and insights, offering valuable advice to students looking to enter the startup world. They discussed topics such as the challenges and benefits of working at a startup, company culture, and career growth. Some of the startups that participated in the fair included OptimizeApp, Zidyia, Made for You Global, Cycled Technologies, Yspot, exhale, AR Engineering, HoloFair, Kyma, Foloosi Technologies Ltd, Savii, jalebi.io, Lune Technologies, EYouth, FortyGuard, Esaal solutions, and Ludus Films.
