Omar bin Sultan Al Olama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Teleworking Applications, affirmed that the UAE government adopts advanced technology as a key pillar in its development journey, reflecting UAE leadership’s directives in leveraging new technology in building capabilities, enhancing services and shaping a brighter future.

This came during the signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) by Al Olama and Bas Lemmens, General Manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa at Chainalysis. The MoU is building cooperation to provide a virtual training programme for government institutions employees in the areas of Blockchain and virtual assets, as well as to develop their capabilities and skills in this future field, leverage global experiences and share success stories.

Al Olama stated that strengthening partnerships with pioneering companies and empowering government entities with the latest tools and advance technologies play a pivotal role in enhancing the readiness of the UAE government, through exchanging experiences and global success stories.
