Bahrain: Fast Attracting more Indian Tourists

Indians migrate to Bahrain in search of greener pastures, support their families back home and a better standard of living. However, they are now embracing the kingdom through tourism. Despite slowing trends in Europe and West Asia, more Indian immigration can benefit Bahrain’s tourism sector by bringing thousands of high-net-worth individuals and potential tourists.

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) has put India on its priority list by maintaining an office in the country to collaborate with travel agents and tourism players. The links between Bahrain and India will also contribute to this tourism resurgence drive.

“More Indian weddings are taking place nowadays, and Bahrain has become a popular tourist destination for Indians, allowing us to supply visas and tickets and develop our business,” Haris PT, Managing Director of Travel Knits said.
