BETA showcases Bahrain Tourism at Global Travel Week Middle East 2022

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BETA), led by its Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Fatima Al Sairafi has represented the Bahrain tourism sector at the ongoing “Global Travel Week Middle East 2022” in Muscat, Oman.

Ms. Al Sairafi revealed that BETA’s participation is expected to enhance cooperation opportunities within the travel sector and increase partnerships with potential decision-makers in the travel industry.

The entity also seeks to connect with potential tour operators from different parts of the travel industry to further enhance the destination by making travelers from different countries more aware of the Bahrain tourism sector.

During the participation, Ms. Al Sairafi showcased Bahrain’s major tourism projects such as the Qalali Coast Waterfront, the Bahrain Bay Beach Project and the new exhibition center in Sakhir, as well as the distinctive private tourism sector facilities such as the Al Dana Amphitheater Marassi and others.

In addition to travel agencies and tour operators, the BTEA Deputy CEO also met with attendees from a variety of backgrounds, including “luxury travel”, MICE, FIT (Free Independent Travelers), weddings, and more, to make Bahrain a preferred tourist destination.
