Egypt elected president of Middle East Regional Committee in the World Tourism Organization

CAIRO - 28 May 2021: Egypt won the presidency of the Middle East Regional Committee of the World Tourism Organization at it next session. This was during the elections held during the 47th meeting of the committee, which is held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. During the meeting, it was agreed that Egypt will host the meeting of the committee in its 48th edition scheduled to be held early 2022. Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, thanked the members for electing Egypt to chair the regional committee for the Middle East. He added that Egypt will spare no effort in coordinating with all countries in the Middle East to resume tourism as soon as possible among the member countries of the Commission. The Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities invited ministers who are members of the committee to Egypt in the 48th meeting of the committee.
