Egyptian, Jordanian tourism ministers agree on boosting cooperation

CAIRO – 10 November 2021: Egypt’s Tourism Minister Khaled El-Enani and his Jordanian counterpart, Nayef al Fayez, discussed means of boosting cooperation between the two countries in Cairo on Tuesday. During a dinner banquet, the ministers agreed on continuing to enhance bilateral cooperation in light of the role of tourism in fostering economic development and means of mutual understanding as well as boosting relations between the two countries’ peoples. Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Nevine Gamea and her Jordanian counterpart, Yousef al Shamali attended the banquet. The banquet came on the sidelines of the signing of the executive program for cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries. The meeting came while Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Tuesday Jordanian Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II at the Ittihadiya Palace, said presidential spokesman Bassam Rady.
