Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism &Antiquities participates in the 41st edition of International Tourism& Travel Exhibition in Madrid

CAIRO - 22 May 2021: Under the theme "For tourism activation", the 41st edition of the International Tourism and Travel Exhibition (Fitur) opened in Madrid, Spain, from May 19th to 23rd, with the participation of 60 countries. The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities participated with a delegation from the tourism sector headed by Mr. Ahmed Youssef, CEO of Egyptian Tourism Promotion Board, which opened the Egyptian pavilion at the exhibition, in the presence of Ambassador Omar Salim, Ambassador of Egypt in Madrid, Professor Majid Abu Sedera, Head of International Tourism at the Board, and some members of the Egyptian Embassy. Mr. Ahmed Youssef stressed that Egypt's participation in such important international tourism events has a great impact in promoting the Egyptian tourist destination, especially since the Fitur is an annual international exhibition that serves as a base for the association of many operators of the tourism industry, investors, businessmen and experts from around the world, which strengthens the Egyptian position in the Spanish and European markets, and opens up new horizons to promote the Egyptian tourism product.
