Petra continues to receive tourists, staff is on high alert – Roya News English

Wednesday morning, Petra witnessed heavy rainfall accompanied by hail, which led the Petra Development Tourism Regional Authority (PDTRA) to make the necessary preparations in case the unstable weather conditions worsen.

According to the Jordan News Agency Petra, the Chairman of the Council of Commissioners of the Petra region Suleiman Al-Farajat said that the tourist site welcomes visitors normally despite the rain.

He added that the visitor center has been selling tickets to tourists since 6 am as usual.
