Tourism Minister issues statement regarding PCR – Roya News English

Wednesday, the Minister of Tourism, Nayef Al-Fayez, stressed the necessity of adhering to health procedures recently issued regarding PCR tests, in a statement sent to the President of the Jordan Hotels Association, the President of the Restaurants Association, and the President of the Jordan Society of Tourism and Travel Agents.

The statement, a copy of which was received by Roya, said that any person coming from abroad traveling through air, land or sea must take a PCR test, regardless of one’s vaccination status.

Fayez added that in the event of a suspicion of recording an infection with Omicron, the case will be institutionally quarantined in a hotel in Amman, until the final result appears, or the genome sequencing is examined.
