Kuwait restarts flights with India, Egypt, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka – ARAB TIMES – KUWAIT NEWS – Arab Times Kuwait English Daily

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: Kuwait reallowed commercial flights with India, Egypt, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka on Wednesday after the six countries were restricted in light of COVID-19 restrictions. The decision was made in a cabinet meeting which underlined that flights with these countries would be subject to measures identified by Kuwait’s ministerial coronavirus emergency committee.

The Directorate- General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is said to have set a ‘quota’ for 29 airlines operating at the Kuwait International Airport quota based on a decision to increase the operating capacity to 7,500 passengers per day, while the quota for some destinations has been increased while for others it remains the same.
