Ministry plans to make Oman ports as attractive stopover for cruise ships

Hamburg: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, is taking part in the Seatrade Europe, specialising in cruise and river cruise industry. The Ministry aims, through its participation in this event, to enhance its promotional efforts and to meet with companies operating international cruise ships and decision-makers. The conference witnesses the participation of CEOs, service providers of the cruise ships and yachts sector, and representatives of governments and tourism companies. The Ministry seeks to develop this type of global tourism in coordination with the government and private sectors and international companies that own and operate cruise ships. The Ministry also seeks to position the ports of the Sultanate of Oman as an attractive stopover for cruise ships of all sizes by harnessing all capabilities and providing the necessary facilities to attract these ships and yachts to Omani ports.
