Oman to take part in ITB Berlin as an official partner

Berlin: The ITB Berlin Convention, the largest world’s tourism forum, will kick off on Monday.

The Sultanate of Oman is an official partner for ITB Berlin 2024 which will run through 7 March.

The event is a unique opportunity to enhance the travel and tourism industry in the Sultanate of Oman and contribute to increase tourism flow to the country.

This partnership emphasised the Sultanate of Oman’s commitment to developing the tourism sector, strengthening its rank as a leading global tourist destination, and contributing to promoting promising investment opportunities in the country.

Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism will head the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman to the ITB Berlin Convention.

Oman’s participation in the event will be represented by as many as 70 tourist companies, hotels and enterprises, as part of the efforts made to promote for Oman’s tourism at the international forums.

Al Mahrouqi commented, “The Sultanate of Oman’s participation in this edition of the ITB Berlin, as an official partner comes in line with the efforts exerted by various parties to empower the tourism sector”.
