Omani French Friendship Association appoints new president and board members

Muscat: The Omani French Friendship Association held a Board Meeting on the 13 January 2022, during which it appointed a new president, welcomed new members of the Board and of the Events Committee, and approved an ambitious programme of events for the first semester 2022. Sulaiman Al Harthy, Chief Executive Officer o fAlizz Islamic Bank, already a member of OFA, was nominated to the position of President of the Board. All present Board members, as well as the French Ambassador, Honorary member, payed tribute to the former President, Sheikha Hind Bahwan, for her instrumental role in establishing OFA as a major bilateral association and her continued involvement. The Board also welcomed a new member, Sergio Giorgi, new Managing Director of Total Energies in Oman, as well as two new Committee members, Fatma Al Barakat and Bechir Chehab, Managing Director of JC Decaux in Oman.
