Oman’s luxury hotel revenue rises 27% to $532m

The total number of hotel guests increased by 30.3 percent to 1.88 million in the first 11 months of 2023, compared to 1.45 million, Times of Oman news daily reported.

Similarly, the occupancy rate rose 9 percent year on year.

Room bookings by Omanis grew 11.3 percent annually to 716,585, while GCC hotel guest numbers rose 27.9 percent yearly to 185,671.

European hotel arrivals rose 47.1 percent year on year to 447,033.

Hotel bookings by Africans grew 35.6 percent to 10,588, while the number of hotel guests from Asia surged 41.8 percent to 270,320.
