Four Seasons & DGDA reveal plans for new luxury hotel in Saudi Arabia

Canada-based leading luxury hospitality company, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, and Saudi Arabia’s Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) have revealed their plans for new Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah in the Kingdom.

According to the reports, “The Hotel will be located adjacent to Diriyah’s culturally rooted district along the Wadi Hanifah escarpment, with incredible views towards the west and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, At-Turaif.”

Diriyah, a 300-year-old site just outside of Riyadh, is considered to be the birthplace of the Kingdom and the capital of the first Saudi state. The development is a key driver of the Kingdom’s Saudi Vision 2030.

Located 15 minutes from the center of Riyadh, Diriyah will comprise 13 unique districts inclusive of residences, hospitality offerings, office space, retail, museums, cultural institutions, outdoor attractions, and so on.

Furthermore, the new Hotel will have a distinct aesthetic that will be designed by prominent design architects, Aedas and Elastik interior designers, and it will be inspired by local tradition, the company said.
