Guidelines issued as Saudi Arabia prepares to open borders

Saudi Arabia will allow vaccinated citizens to travel abroad from May 17, when the country reopens its land, sea and air borders more than a year being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Only adults who have received both doses of the vaccine, or one dose 14 days prior to the date departure, will be allowed to travel, the interior ministry said in guidelines released on Sunday.
