KSA: King Fahd Causeway updates travel procedures for Saudi citizens – Gulf Digital News

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's King Fahd Causeway Authority (KFCA) has announced updated travel procedures for Saudi citizens travelling to Bahrain.

Adults must complete three doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (two doses and a booster dose).

The duration of the requirement to take the booster dose (third dose) for adults has been extended to eight months after receiving the second dose.

Travellers below the age of 16 years must complete two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Children under the age of 12 years must hold an insurance policy against coronavirus, stating that the age must be calculated by the Hijri date.

KFCA specified that according to the Health Insurance Council, the insurance company Tawuniya is currently the only approved entity.

KFCA said it has updated the procedures after Saudi Arabia decided to lift most of the Covid-19 precautionary measures.
