Saudi Arabia to allow entry of travelers from 11 countries starting May 30 – Roya News English

Saturday, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that a source from the Saudi Ministry of Interior said that the Kingdom will allow the entry of travelers from 11 countries starting May 30, following a suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic. The countries are the US, UK, UAE, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, France and Japan.

The source noted that the decision was made based on information provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) showing that they were able to effectively gain control over the spread of COVID-19.

He noted that arriving passengers will still be required to quarantine upon arrival in the Kingdom.
