It aims to share its main mandates, services, and progress […]The Saudi Red Sea Authority (SRSA), a regulator of marine tourism activities in Saudi’s Red Sea, has signed two memoranda of understanding (MoUs) during the Saudi Tourism Forum 2024.

The MoUs were signed with the Saudi Investment Recycling Company (SIRC) and the National Maritime Academy (NMA). It aims to share its main mandates, services, and progress towards enabling coastal tourism.

The signing took place within the framework of the SRSA’s mandates, which include developing policies, plans, and programs required to regulate maritime and navigational tourism activities, as well as develop a mechanism to ensure the protection of the marine environment in which these activities are carried out, thereby enhancing human capability in fields relating to coastal tourism.

The first MoU was signed by SRSA’s acting CEO Mohammed Al-Asiri, and SIRC’s CEO Eng. Ziyad Al-Shiha. The second MoU was signed by SRSA’s Head of the Partnerships Prince Saud Al-Saud and
