Saudi Tourism Authority & Emirates ally to boost Kingdom’s tourism

The Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) and Emirates Airline have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to promote Saudi tourism, attract tourists, enhance the travel experience, develop services, and exchange information.

The MoU seeks to lay the solid foundations for close cooperation between the two parties by unifying efforts and marketing and media expertise to increase the capacity and number of flights across the Emirates Airline network to tourist destinations in Riyadh, Jeddah, Madinah, and Dammam.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Adil Al Ghaith, Senior Vice President Commercial Operations, Gulf, Middle East and Central Asia, Emirates, and Mr. Muhammad Bassrawi, VP of STA, in the presence of Mr. Fahd Hamidaddin, CEO and Board Member of the STA and Mr. Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Chief Commercial Officer.

It also seeks to raise the level of ground and air services to ensure a seamless, enjoyable, and inspiring tourism experience, as well as collaborate on joint promotional campaigns in the main target markets, and exchange information about market and customer developments.

This fruitful partnership between the STA and Emirates comes within the framework of the authority’s cooperation and integration with its partners in the private sector.
