UNWTO: Saudi ministry scheme a ‘role model’ for tourism education

RIYADH: The World Tourism Organization praised the Saudi Ministry of Tourism’s initiative for tourism education, “School Enrichment Programs,” as an ideal model for exploring students’ professional ambitions in the sector. The organization said that the Ministry of Tourism’s initiative in Saudi Arabia serves an exemplary model for other UNWTO member states. According to the Saudi Press Agency, the UNWTO said that integrating tourism in education contributes to economic and cultural prosperity, and enables students to find career paths and learn skills.
