US President Joe Biden to travel to Saudi Arabia next month – The National

US President Joe Biden will travel to Israel, the West Bank and Saudi Arabia next month, where he will hold his first meeting with the Saudi leadership and regional counterparts.

The White House announced Mr Biden’s trip on Tuesday, following months of deliberations. His visit to Saudi Arabia is Mr Biden's first to an Arab country since he became president last year.

The trip to the Middle East from July 13-16 will "reinforce the United States’ iron-clad commitment to Israel’s security and prosperity," White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.
