Emirates expecting a million travellers to pass through Dubai International – ArabianBusiness.com

Dubai-based Emirates Airline is expecting almost one million travellers to depart or arrive in the emirate through the New Year celebrations.

The carrier has forecast the surge in traffic through Dubai International over the peak travel period, which starts on Thursday, December 30 and is set to run through to January 10, according to a notice on the company’s website.

A statement said: “As the year draws to a close, a high volume of passengers are expected to surge through Dubai International to meet their travel plans for the New Year celebrations and the holiday season.”
