Emirates Post Group appoints new chairman

Emirates Post Group Company (EPGC) announced that it has appointed Badr Al-Olama as the chairman of the organisation. He replaces Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi in the role, a statement said. Al-Olama is the current executive director of the UAE Clusters at Mubadala’s Investment Company. He also spearheads the organising committee of the Global Manufacturing and Industrialisation Summit (GMIS), a platform jointly established by the UAE and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). He also serves as the chairman of Strata Manufacturing and Sanad Group, and a board director at Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat), Mubadala Health, Shuaa Capital, Oumolat Security Printing, as well as automotive and energy joint ventures in Algeria. In his new role, Al-Olama is tasked with the diversification, digitalisation and expansion efforts at EPGC, aimed at enhancing the presence of its brands in local, regional, and international markets.
