Gargash Group announces technical talent programme for UAE Nationals

Gargash Group has launched iStar technical apprenticeship, a training and recruitment initiative for UAE nationals under its automotive division. The eight-month programme is available to all new graduates as well as working professionals and is designed to improve critical skills in Emiratis joining the private sector. Throughout the internship, trainees will get professional training as well as hands-on experience in real-world customer engagements. Interns will be mentored by experienced managers and professionals and will be equipped with the essential skills and experience to help them in their long-term career path. Commenting on the announcement, Shehab Gargash, managing director and group CEO of Gargash Group, said: “The recently announced initiative by the UAE’s leadership to promote Emiratis to become a significant contributor in a rapidly expanding private sector economy, is a significant milestone.
