How Dubai is leading the global air travel recovery as ticket sales surge – ArabianBusiness

Dubai’s DXB continued its dominance of the global aviation industry in February with five of the world’s 10 busiest international air routes.

Routes to Riyadh (259,832 seats), London Heathrow (220,242), Jeddah (170,264), Bahrain (145,868) and Kuwait (141,964) were named in the top 10 list compiled by aviation analysts OAG.

Its February data also showed that DXB retained its position as the world’s biggest international hub, with in excess of 50 percent more seats than the next busiest, London Heathrow.
