Usman Khan, is the Chef De Cuisine at Ba – Boldly Asian at Fairmont The Palm. As a true leader in the culinary arts, Usman loves to showcase his creativity through food, providing exceptional F&B experiences for guests.

Usman has worked in a number of prestigious kitchens across the world, starting his career in South Africa, working his way up through the ranks at various restaurants before landing a role as Sushi Chef at NOBU in Cape Town. After four years there, Usman moved to NOBU Tokyo for a transfer experience before bringing his skillset to Dubai in 2017.

His career in the UAE kickstarted as the Head Chef at KATSUYA in Madinat Jumeirah, before moving across various KATSUYA locations and working at Azul Lunge & Theatre in Downtown Dubai. There he oversaw three kitchen operations, creating the menus and ideating various new dishes while managing a busy team and guest relations.
