300 experts to probe metaverse at Dubai assembly

UAE - Dubai Metaverse Assembly will open today (September 28) aiming to explore the opportunities, capabilities and applications of the metaverse.

The two-day event at the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071, Emirates Towers, Dubai, supports the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for technology and innovation to drive positive change for humanity, said a statement.

Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Managing Director of Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), affirmed that the global event aims to help governments, technology companies, and international organisations explore the metaverse.
