Global Village announces opening dates for 2020 season in Dubai

The 25th season of Global Village in Dubai will commence from Sunday October 25.

The silver jubilee edition will extend for 25 weeks into Ramadan 2021.

"Our 25th anniversary is a great milestone for us and the teams are working hard to make this year very special. We also feel that this is an important message for the country and the region. Over the years we have become a mainstay for family entertainment across the region, and we are proud to be able to play an important role in driving the "open for business“ message,“ said Bader Anwahi, CEO of Global Village.

On March 15 earlier this year, the organisers of the annual shopping, dining and entertainment festival, decided to end the current season due to the Covid-19 pandemic ahead of the scheduled closing date of April 4.

Ahaead of the opening of its next season in October, Global Village has already received the Dubai Assured Stamp awarded by Dubai Municipality, Dubai Economy and Dubai Tourism (DTCM) in light of the stringent preparations for opening.

The Dubai Assured stamp is a new compliance programme to certify that hotels and retail establishments, F&B outlets and tourist attractions in the emirate are adhering to the highest levels
