Dubai: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, has approved major projects in accordance with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. These projects aim to further strengthen Dubai’s position as a leading catalyst for economic growth, a destination for global tourism, and a pivotal transport hub connecting continents.

Chairing a meeting of The Executive Council on Wednesday at the Arabian Travel Market 2024 exhibition in Dubai World Trade Centre, Sheikh Hamdan emphasised Dubai's commitment to investing in the future and leading global tourism by highlighting His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s recent announcement to build the world’s largest airport, with a Dh128 billion investment and a capacity for 260 million passengers annually. He emphasised that Dubai serves as a vital bridge between North, South, East, and West, offering state-of-the-art infrastructure to companies and setting the foundation for global expansion.
