Shurooq to transform Kalba Beach into major tourism destination

The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has announced a new project that will transform Kalba Beach into a leading hub of tourism in the emirate’s eastern region.

The Authority stated that the project will offer a variety of leisure alternatives and public services, including restaurants, cafés, kiosks, a children’s zone, and other facilities.

According to the statement, “Kalba’s natural life is taken into consideration while developing the project, Shurooq also adheres to the regulations designed to protect the natural ecosystem with environment-friendly materials.”

Alongside offering visitors and tourists a new hub of leisure and entertainment in Kalba, the project seeks to promote local entrepreneurship by prioritizing the creation of business opportunities, particularly for the region’s youth.”
