UAE-Armenia visa-free travel for multiple nationalities: Check full list

The UAE and Armenia announced a visa-free regime agreement during the recent visit of Armenina Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to the country.

The announcement was made by the deputy foreign minister Vahan Kostanyan on Twitter.

“FM Ararat Mirzoyan’s official visit to UAE was marked with a signing ceremony to lift the visa regime for the citizens of Armenia and UAE,” Kostanyan said.

The Armenian envoy met with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, where they discussed prospects for cooperation across economic, investment, developmental, tourism and educational sectors.

Visa free travel to Armenia

UAE citizens do not require a visa to travel to Armenia, as per the country’s foreign ministry website. With Yerevan just a three-hour flight from Dubai International Airport, many UAE citizens take advantage of the short distance to travel to during long weekends and holidays.

Many UAE residents too do not require a visa to travel to the country. Indian nationals living and working in the UAE can avail of a visa on arrival if they
