UAE Cabinet reviews progress of National Tourism Strategy – Gulf Today

UAE Cabinet chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, reviewed the latest developments in the National Tourism Strategy and the most important achievements in the sector.

Sheikh Mohammed says 28m guests checked-in in the UAE hotels in 2023, 11% more than the previous year. The general tourism spending in the UAE amounted to Dhs118b as compared to Dhs47b last year.

Sheikh Mohammed says the contribution of domestic tourism was nearly Dhs180 billion in 2023.
