UAE nationals can now enjoy visa-free travel to Azerbaijan

Citizens of the UAE and Azerbaijan no longer need visas to travel between both countries. The nations have given the nod to mutual visa exemption. The agreement, which came into effect on July 8, allows stays of up to 90 days. The UAE Embassy in Baku made the announcement on Twitter. This key move will further enhance and advance the relationship between the two countries. Since 2018, all UAE residents can obtain a tourist visa on arrival in the Eastern European country. Previously visitors from the UAE needed to obtain a visa at the country’s embassy or the consulate-general in the UAE. The on-arrival tourist visa is valid for one month the date of arrival.
